3 Signs Your Dog Is Bullying You
Copywriting Book #2
Dear Friend,
You will not See Your Dog as a Bully.
So you should Ask Your Friends, "What do you think about my Dog and me? What is our Relationship.
The Reason I Am Writing this Article is Because a Neighbors Dog, "White Fang" thinks of Tom as...
"My Dog Food Can Opener."
But Tom Can't SEE it.
Tom Drives by. Stops in the road. Yells, "I'm coming over to talk to you. Where will you be?"
I answer, "You'll hear me. I'm cutting a tree."
Tom shows up with his giant white Dog. The dog Raises his leg a Lot. Marks his territory Constantly. So I call him, "Yellow Fang."
One of a different Neighbors Tress fell in my lawn. So I went to her door. Knocked. Got Sandra's Permission to cut it up. Toss it in my woods to rot.
Darn thing is 10 inches thick at the base. A dead part of her Hedge.
Tom Shows up with Yellow Fang. Ties him to a tree. Out of the way so he won't get smacked by my Ax.
Tom talk about Taking Yellow Fang to a local park.
Yellow Fang Likes to Swim in the lake.
White Fang starts to Bark.
Tom says, "Quit it. I'm not taking you for a walk. So Stop Barking."
White Fang Looks back and Forth between Tom and my woods. He Clearly wants to go for a walk. Not Excited about Being tied to a tree.
While I cut limbs off the dead Tree I am Watching Tom Interact with this Big White Dog Bully.
#1 -- I Cut The Tree At The Base. The Dog Never Quits Barking. It's Clear that White Fang Knows if he Keeps Barking he will eventually get his way.
#2 -- While Lopping Tree Limbs off -- Tom Talks to the Dog like a Person. Both Tom and I can See The Dog is Totally Expecting to get his way. The dog is leaning on his leash -- in the direction of my woods.
#3 -- As I Carry Armfulls of Tree Branches into the woods, I can see Tom Crumbling. His Decision not to Surrender to The Dog's Demands -- is Weakening.
I say, "Ignore him. You are Letting That Dog boss You Around."
My comment seems to Have The Opposite Effect.
Tom Decides to Walk the dog- after all.
I say, "I Gotta Cut a Poplar Tree. It fell over at the bottom of the old logging road. So I'll meet you down there."
Mosquitos are Eating On Tom.
So he and Yellow Fang don't stay long. They head back towards his house.
I Finish Cutting the Top of the Tree. Pile the Tree Limbs up beside the path. And Walk back to the house.
Thinking, "The way Tom is going about Things is a LOT of Work. The Dog seems to be in charge."
I Told Tom How to Train His Dog -- so TOM is the Leader of the pack. But he never Took Action.
How do I know.
Cuz I had to Chase Yellow Fang away from my porch. Then get him away from my tomato Plants. Ole YELLOW PERIL is still In Charge.
Thanks,
Glenn Osborn
